Happy New Year!  2025 sure came in fast and furious!  I am so excited to see all the growth in your kids in both ELA and world history.  They are working so hard to absorb the material and put it into action through reading and writing.  We recently wrapped up the Israelite unit and are now working on Anceint South Asia.  In ELA we are wrapping up a poetry unit and the kids will be writing their own Villanelles in class.  Your kids are also working on preparing for the 3rd quarter IR book projects.  New dates and project ideas are in the slideshow posted in their ELA google classroom.

We are going into testing for the middle of the year and the kids will be taking the PM2 ELA test on Tuesday, 1/14/2025.  Please make sure they get a good nights sleep and a healthy breakfast the morning of.  We want them awake, energetic,  and ready to do their best!  Super excited to see how they perfom and show what they know.

Please help your child be prepared for school by making sure they have all their supplies.  Supply lists are posted on the schools website.   They will need a folder, paper, pencils, pens, highlighters, and wired headphones for both ELA and World History daily.  I am seeing many that do not have the basic supplies, still.  Headphones are a MUST have item and not having them daily makes it very difficult to complete assignments with videos.
