Welcome to 7th Grade Civics and Economics! Brace yourself for a challenging second semester of what we hope will contain many positive educational experiences for you. Here's where you begin to understand and improve the world!

Happy New Year! Students will be studying state and local governments throughout the month of January. Certain students will be selected to attend a local government field trip on 1/29. They will participate in a mock town hall meeting hearing proposals on how to improve the community.

Civics tutoring will be available for struggling students in room 226 from 3:30 - 4:00 just about every other Wednesday (towards the second half of each quarter). It is recommended that struggling students attend these tutoring sessions in an effort to raise their low Civics average. Here are the tutoring dates for the second semester: 1/28, 2/11, 2/25, 3/11, 4/15, 4/29, and 5/13.

Supplies to have everyday for all my Civics classes:

Pocket folder; blue/black pen or pencil; blank, lined, loose leaf paper (along with a charged chromebook)
