WELCOME TO 8th GRADE CAREER RESEARCH & DECISION MAKING
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this course is to enable students to explore career clusters and make informed career choices. Activities will enable students to increase self-awareness and develop the skills needed to plan for postsecondary education and the workplace successfully. Students will create an education plan for high school, indicating the courses they would like to take to fulfill all graduation requirements.

SUPPLIES
Wired earbuds or headsets - a working pair must be kept in the student’s backpack every day.
One 3 Prong pocket folder - any color
Pencil - to be kept in the student’s backpack and available when needed
