Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

I am excited to be teaching Honors Geometry and 8th grade Pre-Algebra again this year as well as Honors Algebra 1 at the Middleton campus.

Please come and meet me on Tuesday, August 4th from 11:00-1:00 PM or from 4:00-6:00 PM.

I am looking forward to the first day of school on Thursday, August 6th at 7:50!

This year the students will be working in ALEKS to complete Math Topics based upon their Initial Knowledge Check results. Individual independent practice based upon student’s knowledge check in ALEKS will be expected on a weekly basis for homework. Students will be required to complete 10 Topics weekly in ALEKS for a practice grade. Students will also be required to complete a certain percentage of their ALEKS pie quarterly. These percentages will be determined after their initial knowledge check and displayed in Google classroom and updated on my teacher connection page. This will be entered as a Mastery Grade showing their mastery of 8th grade math Topics.

All assignment will be listed in Google Classroom and will also be displayed on the calendar below for the appropriate class for the date that any assignment is due. All Honors Geometry classes and 8th Grade Pre-Algebra classes will be on the same calendar regardless of the class period.

Your student may utilize the textbook’s website, accessible through Clever, for additional skills practice as well as working in MathXL for School, ALEKS Math, IXL, or Wayground throughout the school year to develop their skills and readiness for the Florida B.E.S.T. Geometry E.O.C. test at the end of the year.

Honors Algebra 1

Honors Geometry students will be utilizing the TEXTBOOK: Savvas Realize: enVision Florida B.E.S.T. Algebra 1

Your student may utilize the textbook’s website, accessible through Clever, for additional skills practice as well as working in MathXL for School, ALEKS Math, IXL, or Wayground throughout the school year to develop their skills and readiness for the Florida B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 E.O.C. test at the end of the year.

8th Grade Pre-Algebra

8th Grade Pre-Algebra students will be utilizing the TEXTBOOK: Savvas Realize: enVision Florida B.E.S.T. Mathematics Grade 8
