8th Grade Careers

I am so excited to be teaching your child 8th grade careers! This is an exciting time for our students as they start to think about their final year of middle school. Our 8th grade careers class is designed to help students explore the possibilities of their future careers. 

Students will take career assessments to help them explore their interests and abilities. These assessments will help our students narrow down their focus so they can make informed decisions about their future as they progress into high school. I want to give our students the opportunity to explore the profound amount of possibilities their future holds when it comes choosing a career. This class will help them create a plan they can put into action.

Resources: Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. We will be using the careers program, Xello, found on Clever, and our Careers textbook that is linked to Google Classroom.
