Google Classroom: Our Digital Workspace!
We will be using Google Classroom as our main platform for learning. On the first day of school, your child will join the Intensive Reading 2 Google Classroom, where all important resources, announcements, websites and assignments will be posted. This is consider a staging area for where to find important parent information as well as intensive reading 2 assignments. However, grades will not be posted in Google Classroom. I will use Skyward to post grades. We will also use various reading web based programs and track progress. To stay informed about your child’s progress, Skyward, and upcoming assignments, I encourage you to check both Google Classroom and Skyward regularly. This is a great way to stay connected and support your child’s learning throughout the year!
Communication:
I’m happy to communicate with you and am very responsive to emails. I usually respond during my planning period and will get back to you as soon as possible. Based on your child's needs, I will utilized both phone calls and email. Your child’s success is my top priority, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. I’m here to support both you and your student!
