I love that I get to teach people about how to live a healthier lifestyle! I have spent most of my life being active and helping others to improve their situation. I enjoy spending time with family, watching live sporting events, working on house projects and exercising. I live with my husband, Greg, and our little malti-poo, Brinkley. I have 3 step-sons and 2 daughters-in-law. I have spent most of my life in Michigan, where my family still lives, with the exception of living and teaching here in Florida for six years.
This is my first year at The Villages Charter Schools, but my 13th year of teaching. I have taught secondary Health and Personal Fitness, as well as upper elementary as a resource teacher. I have competed in and coached soccer, cross country and track and field. My bachelor’s degree was earned from Albion College and my master’s degree was earned at Saginaw Valley State University.
If you have any concerns, questions, or information that will help us have a successful semester, please let me know! We are on the same team, working to make as much progress as possible. I am really looking forward to meeting each of you!
It's going to be a great year working together to achieve the high expectations that have been set.
