Syllabus and Behavior Management Plan
Please read through the 24-25 Classroom Behavior Management Plan and the U.S. History Syllabus. Then complete the Electronic Signature page. Both are located at the bottom of the page.
Google Classroom (code will be given to students first day of school)
We will be using google classroom for important information and assignments. The most up to date information will be posted on Google Classroom!! Parents wanting to access their student's GC, will need to log in using their child's information.
Supplies for 8th grade World History
1 – Two-Pocket folder with center prongs\
Packet of lined loose leaf writing paper to be submitted on first day of class
One Composition Notebook
One Spiral Notebook
Supplies to be given to your 1st period teacher
Boys: Hand Sanitizer 1 roll of paper towels, 2 Boxes of Kleenex, box of pencils
Girls: 2 Boxes of Kleenex, 1 pkg. of Clorox wipes, box of pencils
Supplies to keep in your bookbag for all classes
Headphones - must be wired, for use with their assigned Chromebook
Wireless Mouse - if the student prefers to use a computer mouse rather than the touchpad on their assigned Chromebook, the student must supply his/her own mouse (labeled with student’s name) Not required but recommended.

ASSESSMENT
Students’ grades will be determined by using the following categories and percentages:
Practice -- 30%
Performance (Mastery) -- 70%
Grading Scale: A (90-100) B (80-89) C (70-79) D (60-69) F (0-59)
Make-up Work:
Absent students should check google classroom and the teacher connection website for make-up work. It is the student’s responsibility to complete missed classwork, turn in homework or, to request to take a missed test the day of their return from the absence.
Late Work:
Students are expected to complete all assignments and submit them on or before the day it is due. Any work submitted late will be marked off as a lower percentage.
Absence Work:
Students will receive the number of days absent plus one additional day to complete make-up work.
