Our Manifesto:
As Prefects we will fulfill our duties to keep Western House a place where all children can be included. At lunch, we will always be on duty to help children in the lunch hall, corridor and playground. This year, we have also been tasked with the relaunch of our school library. As Senior prefects, we will always be prepared to step into the role of Head Pupil if they are unable to fulfil their duties.
Our roles as Prefects include:
Help teachers in other year groups on a Monday.
Provide support during special occasions (e.g. selling poppies, packing chocolates for Christmas, shoe boxes for Ukraine).
Help in the lunch hall when it’s wet play.
Give out the newspaper on a Friday.
Autumn Term update:
This term, prefects have been busy doing different jobs. They stand in the corridor to remind younger children to walk and not run. They have been helping in the dining hall giving water and salad to the younger year groups.
