As Head Pupils, we understand the many responsibilities that have to be accomplished order to keep the school functional. One of the many parts of our responsibility is to enforce the rota that we have created with regards to supporting the office, running messages to classes and any other jobs that they might have for us.
Another part of our role is to aim for a comfortable learning environment for both pupils and teachers. We also want to make sure that our school is one of the best and that the children have the best start to the education and the best experiences.
Our school motto is ‘where every opportunity shapes a life’ and we believe that it does and we are there to help.
Our roles as Head Pupils include:
Represent the school at events e.g. Celebration Saturday.
Office duties in the morning - helping children who are late.
Votes for Schools representatives on the Youth council.
Plan and Lead assemblies with Mrs Snowden.
Plan whole school initiatives e.g. Reading Swap Box.
Autumn Term update:
'In the last term, we were given blazers to wear when we are representing the school. They are very smart! We have talked to Ofsted and shown them what our school is about. The book-swap boxes are now in action after being opened by the previous head pupils. We will now become their custodians. We have rewritten our rota to ensure every late child gets the care they need. Finally we represented WHA at the Votes for School National Board meeting.'
