Wire

The subjects of the three creations starting from left to right is a cube with my name on it, a firm wire, and a hat. These pieces artwork was made with wire that I was able to bend and connect using a method called "fish hooking" which is when you bend two seperate pieces of wire into a fish hook shape and then tighten both ends of it to make it tight so it doesn't move. I chose the hat as my final project because we needed to due something that we would be able to bring in everyday, and I where a hat everyday so it worked out really well and I never forgot in and was always prepared.

As I talked about in the first paragraph, a technique I used was the fish hook method to connect everything together, making it firm and hard to brake and fall apart. All three of my projects evolved over time all from the same thing. The cube I made evolved because each corner wasn't tight enough causing it to not stand up straight so I had to redo it. The wire line evolved because that was the very first thing I did with the wire and to make it stand up straight was a challenge and at first my fish hook connects where very loose, causing it fold down. My hat changed over time by the proportions. At first when i was cutting the wire the proportions was exact, however I didn't include the fishhooks causing my had not to be the same size as the real one.

My project relates to my life because I did something that I wear everyday, a hat. One thing I would go back and change on my hat it would definitely be the visor portion of it. One side is wider than the other and the curve is not the same which is bothersome due to it is the first thing you would see.
