Gelatin Prints

My creation was that I made three different prints of leaves on three different pieces of paper. The first one I created was the negative space where I placed the leaves on the ink and put my paper over the leaves so the paper would only pick up the space outside the leaves. After that, I then took off the leaves and placed another piece of paper over the gelatin ink and it showed the detail in the leaves which is the positive space. The last one I did was called the 'ghost' print where I put the last piece of paper on the ink and showed both the negative and positive space. I picked leaves to show all three steps because It shows the most detail out of the three different designs I did. One technique I did was showing negative and positive space by placing stuff over the ink. My project did not evolve because you couldn't change your design once you put the ink on. The story of the artwork is that I used leaves to place on the ink that did three different designs with them on three different pieces of paper.
