This artwork was made using a mechanical pencil was used for multiple things. One thing that it was used for was to lightly sketch the outline of of all three gatorade bottles and it was also used for coloring in gray for the parts that needed to colored in gray. I also used a lot of red colored pencil making sure that I colored in the spots well trying to avoid as many white spaces as possible and cross hatching them so it looks nicer than just coloring in one direction. I also included other colored pencils such as light blue, dark blue, green, purple, and orange. One technique I used while drawing this is cross hatching. Cross hatching is used when you are coloring in negative space and when you use this technique it reduces the amount of white space showing through the lines. Another technique I used was putting a piece of paper under my hand when I was drawing so that I can reduce how many different areas I smug. The part of my project that was changed multiple times throughout the drawing was the G. The G was the hardest thing to draw because you wanted the width to be the same throughout the curve and some parts of it expand or shrink. The story of this artwork is that you needed to include all the things we have been learning in the past couple of weeks into one big drawing. This project relates to my life simply because I drink too much gatorade and so I decided to draw a gatorade bottle. If I could add one thing to make my artwork stronger it would definitely be going back into the biggest gatorade bottle and coloring it in even more because they're some spaces where the white is still shown and if you compare it to the other two gatorade bottles it doesn't look as good as the other two.
