Feet

Artist Statement:

The assignment was to create an image that emphasizes feet. I was sitting in the Alyssa's car during advisory and we were talking about the foot assignment, Ava wanted to be a foot model so she took her shoes off and started grabbing things in Alyssa's car with her feet. I got multiple shots of her doing various things with her feet. I got some of her grabbing the wheel, the shifter, holding the keys and turning knobs. This was my favorite out of them.

I like the composition in the photo how you can see her face in the mirror next to her foot. I also like the color scheme and the pops of color in the hawaiian leis and th red and green cars in the background.

There is not much of a story or meaning behind this photo, but I do feel like it captures a moment in time with her foot out stretched like that and her expression in the mirror. It probably makes the viewer wonder.
