Designing Abstraction

Artist Statement 

I chose the box on my matrix that was form and movement. This was one of the first matrix boxes that I designed and ended up liking it to most.

 I started with graphite to sketch it out and then went back in with sharpie to outline. I made curved lines with a thinner sharpie and colored pens to give it some dimension.  At the end, I added a red construction paper background for some contrast and to make the colors stand out more.
