Time Capsule Still Life

Artist Statement

Through this piece of artwork I am trying to show how any simple everyday item can be artwork. To create art you don't have to go out and find something that is complex and different to create art all you need is any object or place no matter the look or shape. This artwork shows how art also doesn't even need color anything can be art as long as it is your own idea and you take time to show you care.

To create this piece of art work I only used my water bottle, art pencil's, and a ruler. I decided to use my water bottle for this art because it shows how everything as simple as a white water bottle can be art. Secondly I used my art pencils 2H, 4B, and 6B to get different shade lines and a better feeling for the art. I used the ruler to get a straight line for my table.

I placed my water bottle on the table and got to eye level with the table so I could get a better look. Then I used a ruler to create the table line sense the table is straight. Next I used my 2H pencil to start creating my art. I first make a light outline then went over the lines with different pencils to get different looks to my lines.
