My inspiration for my last sustained investigation came from Nora and I's shared birth year, which is 2007. And the Chinese zodiac is a golden pig, so I decided I wanted to paper maché two golden pigs using newspaper, glue, and water.

The materials I used for this consisted of tape and newspaper for the armature of the pigs. As well as this, I used glue and water to stick gold foil and gold origami onto the armature. Once I let this dry, I added wire for the tails.

This process took a few classes and I spent some time working at home as well. My first step was sketching out my idea for the pigs and then I began with two armatures. Once I made the armatures, I added gold foil and gold origami to them using glue and water. After I covered most of the pigs with the origami, I added wire tails to complete this.
