Midterm Circles

I was inspired to create my midterm project through a multitude of things. I got the prompt to create a piece of art that includes at least twenty circles of any size in the organization of five by four. I think I also got some inspiration from my past three sustained investigations since they were connected to nature. And I thought that by having the perspective of looking through twenty windows, you'd see a glimpse of nature.

The materials I used during the creation of this project consisted of watercolors on watercolor paper. As I did this, I contrasted by having a darker interior of possibly a plane with windows that showed lighter colors.

The process of this watercolor drawing didn't take too long. My first step consisted of how I would use the twenty circles. I decided to make them into windows and began with the black/grey interior. I then followed this by filling in each circle with nature and a hot air balloon.
