Digital Painting

I was inspired to create this Adobe Photoshop project from my trip over the summer where I met up with a bunch of family. These little kids are my cousin's son's, when we rode on a ferry to an island. I chose this photo to create because this picture that I took is a very fond memory. By picking this photo to recreate, I aimed to have a detailed drawing that looks almost the same as the photo reference. 

The materials I used for this project consisted of the tools that were provided by Adobe Photoshop, which included many different choices of brushes and a variety of colors. Another material I used was the eraser tool as well as the smudge tool, to blend colors together.

My process for making this Adobe Photoshop drawing took multiple among multiple hours. My first step in this project was choosing what photo to use to recreate. I decided to draw this photo because I thought it would be a fun challenge to draw and I also thought it would be a good experience to gain more skills for this kind of design online. My second step in this project was making the background, the sky, where I used the matching color tool. After this, I began to recreate the four sides of the drawing, where I used the brush tool, the matching color tool, and the blending tool as well. My last step was drawing the two kids and adding finer details to match them with the photo I took.
