My inspiration for this relief project came from my love of nature and the outdoors. I wanted to create a scene with meadows and mountains and a bright blue sky, which is what I tried to aim for. I used a thin cardboard-like material that acted as a nice resource for layering, a new technique I've rarely used.

The materials I used for my relief project consisted of a thin cardboard material to layer and create the relief aspect, paint, which I used to add color and texture to my cut-out pieces of cardboard, and glue to attach the components. I also used an exacto knife to cut the cardboard into the landscape.

This process didn't take a lot of time, only a few steps. My first step in this process was to cut out the shapes of mountains and nature from the cardboard once I generated a few ideas, which was then when I used the exacto knife. After this, I painted each mountain and hill, and cloud separately, finishing this relief project by gluing the pieces together.
