9/23-9/27
Objectives:
Learn how to throw basic cylinders
Understand Importance of even walls and consistent thickness
Week Three Reflection:
After three weeks, I finally mastered centering. After the most helpful demonstration from Mr. A ever, I got it first try, and every other time after that. After the demo I was centering everything, and I also watched him open up and make a perfect cylinder. I can get the basics of each motion and make an okay-ish cylinder, but more often than not I let centrifical force take over and it ends up being a bowl because I forget to mindful of phsyics. Another thing I struggled with was pulling the walls of the cylinder. I find it difficult to keep both of my hands stable in unison, basically my walls always end up inconsistent and wonky looking, so my cylinder ends of being a bowl.
