In this work, I had to take a lot of steps before I could even start my final project. I had to draw three views of a shoe, choose one to zoom in on three times, and then translate one of those super zoomed-in sketches onto a much larger space. I then tried to fill in the white space with interesting designs, patterns, and colors.
I used graphite to map out basically my building blocks, I then went over it with a gel pen, I started by filling in the bottom white space section with triangles and filled them in with a brush marker, for the second middle section I did triangles again and filled in each individual one with watercolor paint. For the last section on the top, I did orange, red, and yellow ombre and filled in some of it with small little zentangles.
I struggled to think of how to fill the whitespace and started with something simple, I then quickly got tired of doing that and changed my plan, most of my art is basically a visual representation of my thought process.
