Dancing has long been a cornerstone of civilization, easily an art as old as art itself. A Dancer is one who channels this art's innate magic, something ethereal and emotive, bubbling from the same well as Bardsong. They interweave it with intense physical training, making them as deadly to face as they are mesmerizing to watch. Some say the art of Dancing is a lost form of Geomancy, or even an ancient Ninjutsu, stolen away by a troupe of entertainers. One thing remains sure; no intelligent person wants to be in the way of a Dancer in full swing.
Abilities
Dances
Dances cannot be used if the Dancer is Immobilized, Downed, or otherwise cannot move. The Dancer can only have one Dance active at a time. If the Dancer becomes Immobilized, Downed, or otherwise cannot move, the Dance ends.
Dancer Feature Abilities
Dual Wield - Dancer
Feature
Effect: The Dancer can wield two weapons. If they choose to do so, they gain the following benefits while using a Dual Wield weapon:
- You can use either weapon when resolving an attack.
- You can use the Dervish ability.
Dervish
Feature - Step - Chain 0 - Requires: Dual Wielding (Dancer) - Melee Weapon
Damage: Normal damage.
Effect: Dervish is always made at full ACC.
Special: Dervish can only be used immediately after a regular Attack or Dance ability hits and deals damage. Dervish can only be used once per round.
Allure
Feature - Support Ability
Effect: The Dancer is never negatively affected by their own Dances.
The Dancer also rolls an additional die when making a Guile check, if they first succeed on a Charm check.
The Dancer chooses one of Drain Samba, Mincing Minuet, Animated Flourish I, or Curing Flourish I as an Innate ability.

Flirt
Innate - Dance - Range 5 - Simple Action - Provoke
Description:
Effect: Causes Flirt (4). The Dancer has +5 EVA from attacks from their Flirt target. This is a Provoke type effect and is cancelled if the target is Provoked by any other source. The Dancer may have only one target under Flirt at a time--if a new one is affected, the last Flirt ends.
Interlude
Innate - Dance - Simple Action - Self
Description:
Effect: The Dancer stops their current Dance, and begins a new one.
Special: The Dancer must be Dancing in order to use Interlude.
Break - Grace Check: The Dancer starts a new Dance regardless of if they are already Dancing or not.
Accumulate
Step - Chain 1 - PA - DW - Weapon Range
Description:
Damage: Normal damage.
On Hit: Adds +PA as bonus damage to all further attacks in this chain. This bonus stacks with further uses of Accumulate.
Focus Strike
Step - Chain 1 - PA - DW - Weapon Range
Description:
Damage: Normal damage.
On Hit: Adds +5 ACC to all further attacks in this chain. This bonus stacks with further uses of Focus Strike.
Quickstep
Step - Chain 1 - PA - DW - Melee Range
Description:
Damage: Normal damage.
On Hit: The Dancer moves one square, ignoring the target's Rampart.
Luring Step
Step - Chain 1 - PA - Melee Range
Description:
Damage: Normal damage.
On Hit: The Dancer moves one square away from the target, and the target moves into the space the Dancer vacated. This effect can only occur once per turn.
Drain Samba I
Dance - Full Round Action - Self Area 2
Description:
Effect: Each time an enemy within the range of Drain Samba takes damage, the attacker restores 10 HP.
Mincing Minuet I
Dance - Full Round Action - Self Area 2
Description:
Effect: Enemies within range of Mincing Minuet on Initiative take PA*2 True damage.
Animated Flourish I

Description:
Damage: Normal damage.
On Hit: Causes Animated Flourish (1).
Flourish Effect: Attacks against the target deal an additional 10 damage.
Curing Flourish I

On Hit: Causes Curing Flourish (1).
Flourish Effect: Allies who attack the target recover HP equal to the Dancer's PA*4. An ally can only receive this benefit once per round.

Description:
Effect: All Flourishes can be used as a Chain 1. Applying a Flourish to a creature that already has that Flourish increases its duration by 1. A Dancer can never benefit from their own Flourishes.

Trigger: The Dancer misses with a Step or Flourish ability.
Effect: The Dancer may immediately use Dervish twice, regardless of whether they are dual-wielding (or a Dancer) or not.

Description:
Effect: The Dancer and enemies within range of Ochu Dance take True damage equal to 10% of their maximum HP on Initiative. This effect ends once their leave the range of the Dance. Creatures resistant or immune to Poison are immune to Ochu Dance. This effect does not stack with Poison or Toxin.
Darkness Disco
Dance - Full Round Action - Self Area 2
Description:
Effect: The Dancer and enemies within range of Darkness Disco have -10 ACC with physical attacks. This effect ends once they leave the range of the Dance. Creatures resistant or immune to Blind are immune to Darkness Disco.
Silent Samba
Dance - Full Round Action - Self Area 2
Description:
Effect: The Dancer and enemies within range of Darkness Disco have -10 MACC when spellcasting. This effect ends once they leave the range of the Dance. Creatures resistant or immune to Silence are immune to Darkness Disco.
Desperate Flourish

Description:
Damage: Normal damage.
On Hit: Causes Desperate Flourish.
Flourish Effect: Knockback 1.

Effect: The Dancer and enemies within range of Para Para Paralyze have a 50% chance to fail their first action of the round. This effect ends once they leave the range of the Dance. Creatures resistant or immune to Disable are immune to Locking Lambada.
Frailty Polka

Description:
Effect: The Dancer and enemies within range of Frailty Polka lose Brave and have Debrave. This effect ends once they leave the range of the Dance. Creatures resistant or immune to Debrave are immune to Frailty Polka.
Heathen Frolick

Description:
Effect: The Dancer and enemies within range of Frailty Polka lose Faith and have Defaith. This effect ends once they leave the range of the Dance. Creatures resistant or immune to Defaith are immune to Heathen Frolick.
Break - Charming Calypso

Description:
Effect: All enemies within range of Charming Calypso must make a DEX vs. SPR or Charm (1). If no enemies are Charmed by Charming Calypso, the Dancer gains Berserk (4).
Break - Slam Shuffle

Description:
Effect: The Dancer starts a Slam Shuffle. While Slam Shuffle is active, the Dancer may only make basic attacks and use Dervish, but may choose from the following effects for each attack:
- Knockback 1, and the Dancer moves into the space the target vacated.
- The Dancer and the target swap positions.
- The target moves to a space adjacent to the left or right of the Dancer.
Creatures immune to Knockback, or that are larger than the Dancer, are immune to Slam Shuffle's secondary effects.
Special: The Dancer only needs to break a slot when initially starting the Slam Shuffle.
