A hunter that specializes in taking down creatures from a distance.
The Archer is the absolute master of ranged physical combat. They not only fire arrows well and accurately, but they are also known for the ability to poison opponents, hobble their movement, and take long aimed and charged shots for massive damage. In addition to a multitude of skills to augment their skills with a bow, they also tend to learn how to target certain types of monsters so that they know all of their weaknesses and can exploit them to hit them more accurately and in spots of critical vulnerability. Masters of survivalism and ranged combat, Archers are a boon to any force on the move.
If the Archer does not move in a turn, the Archer gains 1 BP and all Sharpshoot abilities gain +10 ACC, +5 Critical, and +2 Range.
The character has +5 ACC when using ranged weapons, and does not suffer a penalty when Arcing shots with a Bow. The character also rolls an additional die when making Sense (Vision) checks.
At Rank 5, the Archer may select a Job Paradigm Shift, replacing some of their Feature abilities. The character may select neither, or one of:
Beastmaster: Masters of the wild and tamers of beasts, blending modern trapping techniques while channeling the magicks of the wild.
Sniper: Deadly assassins with bow and gun. Sacrifices mobility and rapid attacks for a single, clean, killshot.
