5 Chicken thighs, skin and bone on
5 Cloves of garlic
1 Tablespoon veg oil
1/4 Cup butter
Salt and Pepper
Heat oven to 400 degrees
Heat oil in cast iron skillet on m,ed high til smoking
Pat thighs dry and coat with salt and peppere
Mince garlic
Sear thigh skin side down until well browned
Turn over
Add butter cook till melted
Add garlic, stir for thirty seconds'
Put in oven for 1/2 an hour
Remove. Check temp and spoon garlic butter over thighs and roast vegetables, if serving
