Description: The Astronomical Society has taken its observatory a big step forward in its construction. The dome has been placed in position. Later on, when the protective coating has been applied, rollers will be fitted, enabling the dome to swivel. Finishing work is expected to be completed by early October, when an official opening ceremony will be held, 1971
