Anti-Aircraft Battery Alexandra Park

This was one of eleven heavy anti aircraft batteries built in Auckland. It was constructed in 1942 and decommissioned in 1944. It was built to the Type-C design with four emplacements and one command post. The emplacements were demolished or buried in the late 1940s or early 1950s.
