1 pkg active dry yeast
¼ cup very warm water
¾ teaspoon sugar
1 ¼ teaspoons alt
¼ cup shortening
¾ cup boiling water
3 cup sifted flour
Sprinkle dry yeast in very warm water.
Let stand for a few minutes then stir until dissolved.
Put sugar, salt and shortening in a bow; add boiling water and stir until shortening is melted.
Cool to lukewarm.
Stir in yeast mixture.
Add 1 ½ cup of the flour; beat until smooth. Gradually stir in remaining flour. Knead slightly on lightly floured surface.
Roll in large tray which has been slightly greased and pull to fit pan.
Spread with Pizza Sauce and desired toppings.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes until done. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over.
1 can tomato paste
2 cans water
1 Tablespoon of oil
½ tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp parsley
1/8 tsp garlic salt or powder
In a sauce pan, heat oul and add seasoning, stir until blended. Add tomato paste and water. Simmer for 10 – 15 minutes over low heat.
