MODELS COVERED: WCT-31/41 & WCT-04/05PART NUMBUERS:WCT-31/WCT-04: POT CAB.WCT-41/WCT-05: BUTTON CAB.CAB HISTORY/DESCRIPTION:WCT-31 was the very first Cab04P but with Wangrow's 1st generation throttle part numbers. Wangrow Cab had a bigger and black color knob than NCE's smaller silver knob.Dip switch inside battery compartment is used to set cab address. WCT-31/32 did not support radio. Replaced by Wangrow's newer WCT-04/05 which added radio support. The WCT31 & WCT-04 are "POT" knob cabs. (POT = POTentiometer) The knob works like your volume control on an old stereo system. Physical rotational stops at stop and full speed. The POT knob, all of which have a black line on them, gives you a physical indication of the speed setting. The position of the knob was directly tide to an absolute speed. The Status LED gives you status information about the state of the keyboard and button press action.1) When the LED was off, the keypad was being used as a function control keypad. Each key number was a function number.2) When the LED was on, the keypad was setup for data entry of something like a engine number or a macro number.

3) The LED would always blink when a button was pressed. It did not matter if the LED was ON or OFF. This gave you physical verification that your button was pressed.
