Booster Performance Testing
This section shows the various performance capabilities of NCE Boosters.
There are two classes of performance evaluated: Voltage and Current.
Voltage performance describes the Voltage input to Voltage output relationship of the booster. It shows the booster ability to regulate the track voltage for various input voltages.
Current performance describes both the continuous (Rated) and peak current delivery capability of the Booster. The peak current is a parameter that helps describe the booster's ability to power up multiple sound decoders that often present a difficult load due to the collective high amount of capacitance they have.
