Dear Parents,
Happy Halloween Week and welcome to Week 12! The students are going to be very amped with all the Halloween activities we will be completing. We are completely in the midst of assessments and we will finish next week.
We will be making monster bags on Wednesday. If your student would like to bring in individually cut stickers/school supplies/bubbles/spiders/etc. for the bags or a themed book to share with the class, they are more than welcome. TREATS CANNOT BE DISTRIBUTED.
Here’s a breakdown of our week:
French:
As we are assessing, there is no letter this week. We will be learning Halloween vocabulary.
We will see:

une araignée – spider – pronounced: une ah-rain-yay
une chauve-souris – bat – pronounced: une shove-soo-rhee
un vampire – vampire – pronounced: uhn vom-peer
des bonbons – candy – pronounced: day bon-bon (very nasal-y)
des bonbons ou un sort – trick or treat – pronounced: des bon-bon oooo uhn sor
