These are our classroom behavior expectations and consequences.
Students follow three rules while they are in class:
1. I am respectful. Je suis respectueux.
2. I solve problems. Je resouds mes problèmes.
3. I make good decisions. Je prends les bonnes décisions.
Our school has adopted the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Instead of having the color chart (like previous years), we will be using raffles, Owl Bucks, stickers, and other forms to positive reinforcements to achieve and promote proper behavior.
School-wide, we stand by the motto: Be S.M.A.R.T. Being S.M.A.R.T. is our positive behavior expectations:
There is a Be S.M.A.R.T. rap to remind students of the rules. Unfortunately, it is only in English. Check out the video here.
In the city of Glendale,
Where we go to school.
Yea, we go to Franklin,
We know we're cool!
Following rules and being SMART,
We got it down, Be SMART, Be SMART!
We SOLVE PROBLEMS we're part of the solution.
Listening to our teachers, we MAKE GOOD DECISIONS,
We ACT RESPONSIBLY, being mindful of others,
We RESPECT all adults, ourselves, and each other.
Most importantly, part of our existence,
We TAKE A SECOND and make a difference.
Following rules and being SMART,
We got it down, Be SMART, Be SMART!
