OBJECTIVES: students will review and speak in the past tense

students will describe people's outfits using new vocabulary and adjectives

ACTIVITIES:

give old clipart with adjectives from French 1 and 2

1. talk about vacations with passé composé and imparfait (and adjectives/nouns!)

write down, who remembers what activity

2. guess who with clothing vocabulary

3. explain homework

DEVOIRS: find the clothing you will be wearing for the fashion show

make a list of the 8 items and find 16 adjectives to describe them (max 3 colors) ex. un long chandail bouffant

des nouvelles lunettes scintillantes (make sure adjectives agree and are in correct location!

for two non-bags une jupe seduisante et amincissante (seductive and slimming) you need 8 new adjectives

ALSO: make a list of your adjectives with the meanings in English (on a separate piece of paper)

OBJECTIVES: students will continue to work on adjective location (and agreement?)

students will learn how to compare things

ACTIVITIES:

1. share lists of adjectives with the class

devine qui while list is set up

2. a TPRS story using the new adjectives (describing a famous person's outfit?)

3. notes on comparing and contrasting (plus, moins, aussi)

5. clipart game?

DEVOIRS: write 5 regular sentences comparing things that interest you (sports teams, music, books, movies, actors, actresses, stores, websites, tv shows etc)

write 3 comparing sentences (1 plus, 1 moins, 1 aussi) about your outfit that you will be wearing for the fashion show

c'est vendredi le 4 janvier

OBJECTIVES: students will continue to work with adjectives and comparisons

students will know the clothing vocabulary

ACTIVITIES:

1. write about TPRS story, what do you remember (put adjectives next to nouns)

2. read comparison sentences and discuss. Je suis d'accord etc.

3. fly swatter or pictionary with clothing vocab
