Check out this great example of fabric transfers in ClassicByNature's Etsy store.
Attached to the bottom of the page is the template. Right-click on the download arrow and save to the desktop. Right-Click on it and select Inkscape, and leave the window open in the background while we search for an image.
You can also save the SVG, but this often requires more editing.
The image automatically saves into the Download folder. Click on the folder icon to open the Download folder.
Click on your image and drag it to the Inkscape template. Select Embed.
Separate the images by clicking on them, and moving one. Delete the original. If you can't tell which is which, double-click and delete the one without path nodes.
If you want to add text, click on the Text Tool, write your message, and then select a font face by going to Text>Text and Font.
To make your text "recognizable" to the Cameo Cutter, you'll have to go to Path>Object to Path.
Because this is an iron-on, you'll need to flip your text so that it is readable!
Go to Edit>Select All and then go to Object>Group. With your design selected, go to Tool Controls and select Flip Horizontal.
Save as an SVG to edit the file later, and save as a DXF for the Cameo Cutter. In the dialog, change the Base Unit to Inches.
We'll cut your designs on the Cameo Cutters.
