Today we're going to do a quick introduction to Soundtrap. (Didn't attend the class? Try this quick walk-through from the Soundtrap website to create a ringtone, then try the instructions below. Check out these video tutorials, too.)
We're going to start by plotting the notes for "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," a song in the public domain.

Start plotting C notes at C4. The shaded bars in the grid correspond to the black keys, which are sharps and flats. For our purposes, we'll begin by plotting notes in the light bars only.
We are plotting from the first bar and ending at the 24th bar.
When we are done, we will have something similar to the below.
