The Werewolf Medium Mech weighs 60 tons and is a new design. The torso is blocky and compact, and the legs are spaced rather closely. The standard version is armed with two ER PPCs, four medium ER lasers, two small ER lasers, two machine guns, and one Streak SRM-4 battery.
The standard large engine allows a top speed of 104 km/hr but only leaves enough room for 12 double heat sinks. Some pilots prefer to trim down the engine size in order to add jump jets, more heat sinks, or both. The pilot is well protected in this machine, although direct peripheral vision suffers somewhat as a result.
This model reflects a Maddog configuration I used very successfully in Mechwarrior II. Of course the Werewolf design and name is not from MWII, but from my imagination. The name hints at the physical appearance of this mech: humanoid legs mixed with a non-human torso, and also hints at the potential power of destruction of this mech. As always, this mech uses a lot of slopes. Of particular interest are the 1 x 3 doble inverse slopes under the PPCs, and the multi-inverse slope from the #7151 Sith Infiltrator used as the bottom of the cockpit.
