MATAK Meduim AtTAck trucK

The MATAK is a rear-engine, six wheeled, all-terrain, medium general purpose weapon manned by a single operator. Computer assistance is provided to allow limited automation of piloting the vehicle or firing the weapons.

Main armament for the MATAK is quad Large ER Improved Type lasers on a mount that provides 360 degrees of traverse and -2 to +90 degrees elevation. There are also twin small ER lasers (fixed) and a single machine gun and a single targeting sensor array mounted on independent, fully traversing turrets.

All-wheel drive and four-wheel steer provide good mobility, and the heavily armored vehicle provides full life support in hostile environments.

Builder's Notes: when building mechs, what do you do with all those tires and wheels leftover from your #4288 Power Buckets? Build wheeled vehicles, of course! This model also has some parts from the Star Wars Sith Infiltrator and Ankin Pod racer sets.
