At 40 tons, the Badger is between a light and medium mech, so it is classified as an intermediate mech. The right arm features a LBX-5 Autocannon with extended ammo supply, while the left arm has a pair of medium ER lasers.
Two torso mounted small ER lasers, a bank of Streak SRM-4 missiles, and twin machine guns complete the weapons readout.
The large powerplant (for its size) makes the torso of the Badger rather bulky, but also makes the Badger very quick and shortens recharge time for the lasers.
Builder Notes
I was disappointed with the Kitfox in Mechwarrior 2. There was no torso twist and not enough gun. I decided to build my own creation, one that featured an autocannon on a small torso-twisting chassis. I especially like the proportions and slopes on the Badger torso. This model uses the windshield from the Star Wars Snowspeeder and makes the cockpit nicely compact and efficient.
