As with all light mechs, the 35 ton Lynx was designed to mix speed with punch. In this case, the "punch" comes from an LBX-5 autocannon. The entire right side of the mech is devoted to this weapon and its ammo.
The engine is located behind the pilot, with a Streak SRM-6 battery and more ammunition storage on the left side of the mech. Even with this additional ammunition storage space, Lynx pilots have to watch their ammunition levels carefully.
Two small ER lasers and dual machine guns complete the weapons readout. There is no room for jump jets, so longtime Lynx pilots tend to have very good aiming skills.
Builder Notes: This mech was inspired by Ron Perovich's "Old Raven" design. I liked his design so much I had to make my own version.
I like to think this mech would be used by Clan Ghost Bear in their winter environments.
