To whom it may concern,
I look forward to interviewing and if I am who you want to work for you and especially your clients.
My objective is to do a good job, maintain a steady career, get more college for a better and higher
paying job in a field I can enjoy, and be happy in. Hopefully closer to home. Projected move to
Oregon to be closer to my elderly mother and see about starting a business transporting elders,
special needs, and others as needed to/from the hospital and other locations.
Done everything from riding on a garbage truck, night time desk clerk in a very cheap hotel/bar back,
carpentry/sheet rock/laying cable for internet to power. Plumbing and laying carpet. Also filing,
typing, correspondences and data base manipulation and pay roll. Also assistant manager of a local
Burger King. Training persons, from a variety of backgrounds, such as kids to persons whose primary
language is not English. Also helped with detox and counseling, such as suicide and depression.
Former EMT/CNA, and security guard/mental health security. I prefer something inside and not using
my back and instead using my brains. Done newsletters, cut and paste old style to page maker and
like programs. Calligraphy and Illuminations and history and ways and means things was done.
Nice to know how to see out of the box and find ways not normal, out of the box.
Cab Driver, pizza delivery driver, ambulance driver/EMT, military commercial drivers license B
Class - 5ton and below with trailer and airbrakes (Military), Susv/M113/etc as well. 11B Infantry,
42A (71L/75B) Personnel Administration Specialist. cashier, stocker, maid, medical clean up, security
and riot/crowd control, martial arts and much more. Also have a rusty knowledge of German, and worked
with a variety of person from cultures speaking many languages.
Working on some health issues to the positive, asthma and sleep apnea, so far treatment has been getting
better. With help my seasonal and hyper-nature (ADHD) is becoming easier to deal with, and manageable.
I have experience from loss prevention, security, to cashier, stocker, staff and manager as well
as various experiences in retail, hotel, liquor and grocery; to include stocking/facing, to receiving and ordering.
Also I have worked in food service, as a cook, done cleaning, sensitization and insured quality, and especially
good customer service. As well as a maid and custodian.
Learned how to say "Thank you" in some 20 languages, to let my customer know, I do appreciate their business.
Worked as an assistant manager, and other leadership positions, even if
not designated as such, the job had to get done and the mission completed.
It is not unusual for even when shopping myself, to have people ask me for help, and happy to give it, or find someone who can,
preferably a store employee.
Customer service is greeting them, help find what they want and need and direct them to where to find help,
be served. Favorite quote from when I was serving is "Sergeant this is Adams, it is not his job, but he knows
who to talk to" and I got the soldiers feed, clothed and information on what was going on and who could help them.
Mission oriented. Adapt and over come!
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Michael C. Adams
