Art History

The title of my artwork Am I Pretty Yet? I created a silhouette piece of artwork. I used the following mediums to create my work graphite pencil and coloring pencils. Some of the art-making techniques I used are: drawing and outlining. I used the following elements of art in my artwork: color and line. To add interest to my competition, I used these principles of design: contrast and unity. My artwork is about women and how they feel they need makeup and beauty products to make them feel pretty. This completed work makes me feel happy and proud. By creating this project I learned about expressing myself through art and about how other artists express themselves through art. In future pieces of art i may try to add more color in the background to improve. I added my own original style by adding the bold letters.
