I started with a basic pot structure. To do this I carved out a bottom and rolled out coils then slipped and scored them to the bottom. I eventually got to the height I wanted and smoothed out the coils on the inside and outside. I wanted the pot to have a unique texture to it so I decided to start craving holes. I liked the way it looked so I continued around the pot. I let the pot dry and then it was bisque fired and I glazed it a glossy white. I liked the freedom that we got with this project and that we got to chose the texture. If I could change one thing it would be to choose a different color.
