Inventory Overview

BOS Enterprise Inventory functionality supports

• Weighted Averaging Costing - This model is supported as standard. FIFO and LIFO models can be supported, but our experience has shown that these models are not effective from a system point of view. It is of course easy to arrange a warehouse to support these models, for instance, to ensure that products are issued before they expire.)

View Inventory on transactions

When a Transaction is open, you can view the available stock for the items on the Transaction as follows:

• Click the View button above the Items grid view and select Inventory  - this will show you the stock levels for all the Items on the Transaction.

• Right-click on a Transaction Item and select Item Summary for a more in-depth view of the selected Item's stock situation.

Item Checklist

The item checklist feature has been implemented to assist you in effectively managing your data and ensuring its accuracy within our system. By using the item checklist, you can easily identify gaps in data and address any issues that require further investigation and intervention.

How to use Item checklists

• Navigate to the Items module

• Select the Category you want to check and then select Data = Fail 

• Click the View button to view all the Items that have not passed the checks.

• To view more detail, open the Item and view the Checklists tab.
