GR with landed Cost

Overview 

When receiving stock using the weighbridge (direction = In), QE will create a GR to receive the Goods and create a Transport GR that will act as a landing cost that allocates to the GR for goods. 

Tech Notes

GR - Goods : QE finds a purchase order where the PO Number matches the Order No on the weighbridge record, it also checks that said PO has items belonging to item categories flagged as compounds. 

GR - Goods

• The weighbridge will take said purchase order and copy it to a Goods Received Transaction. 

• The item on the GR - Goods transaction will get its qty updated based on the weight on the weighbridge Record. 

• A Note is added to the item on the linked GR - Goods, this note contains information from the weighbridge. 

• The status of the GR will be set to WB updated. 

Landed Cost (Transport Cost)

• At the same time QE will create a GR - LC for the landed cost (Transport Cost). 

• QE will find the PO - LC where the Order No. field  on the Weighbridge matches the PO No. - Goods Field on the Purchase Order - Landed Cost transaction. 

• The PO-LC will be copied to a GR- LC, The Qty on the transport item will be updated to match the Weighbridge Weight. 

• The status of the GR -LC will be set to WB updated. 

Allocating Landed Cost. 

• The GR Landed cost will automatically allocate to the GR Goods, this will update the Unit Price on GR-Goods to a value including the Landed Cost.
