The Sales Forecast is a tool used to estimate the expected customer orders for a given month. Bumatech proactively reaches out to its customers to gather information about their anticipated orders for the upcoming month. Typically, the Sales Forecast is prepared in the previous month to ensure readiness for the month ahead. For instance, a Sales Forecast created on January 25th would reflect the expected orders for February.
To enhance user experience, the Sales Forecast now incorporates forward dating. This means that when users access the forecast for a particular month, they can see the relevant information for that month, even if it is still the previous month. For example, if the forecast is for February, even though the current month is January, Alta changes the date created to February 1st and adjusts the forecast date accordingly, either to the same date or the last day of the month.
The Sales Forecast transactions are generated within the Sales Forecast Module. This module is an integral part of the Sales Cycle process, which encompasses the following modules:
