Transfer Stock

Overview. 

In an instance where stock needs to move from one Location/Warehouse to another we need to issue the stock out of one location and receive it into another. 

Transfer Issue

This transaction will issue the stock out of a selected location. 

Navigate to: Main Menu >Items > Transfer Issue. 

• Create New. 

• Set Transfer Date.

• Choose from Location 

• Choose To Location. 

Items 

• From the item's lookup, find the item you wish to transfer. 

• To view the current stock values of the item(s), one can click the view button to the right of the items lookup and select the inventory option. This will show you all stock levels of the items in the to and from locations selected.

Transfer Receive

This is the contra to the Transfer Issue transaction. This receives the stock into the To Location. Transfer Receive transactions are created by copying the Transfer Issue to the Transfer Receive transaction.
