The Weighbridge module in QE was created to get data from Bumatech's weighbridge system called Trek. The integration between QuickEasy and Trek is being done through BOS Server app that  is currently installed on the windows pc in the weighbridge office. 

The Trek system system basically records weight data based on the below sequence

Outbound - Trucks coming to collect Finished Products ..The trucks pass through the weighbridge first to get the weight reading when they are Empty ,then pass through again when they have been loaded .This will give Nett reading of the weight of the Finished Products that was collected by the Truck and this in turn is reconciled with what customer ordered

Inbound - Trucks coming to drop off raw materials .The trucks pass through the weighbridge first to get the weight reading when they have a load, they then pass through again when they have been offloaded .This will give Nett reading of the weight of the raw materials that was  delivered by the Truck and this in turn is reconciled with what Bumatech ordered from Suppliers

The cata that updates Trekscale from QuickEasy comes from the following modules in QuickEasy
1) Items module - This forms the raw material and product list that you can select from Trekscale.This data comes from the following Item Categories

• Raw Materials (MATCATID = 5)

• Products (MATCATID = 6)

2) Customers Module - This forms part of the Company lookup that you can select from in Trekscale.This is when they will select a Customer name when they are dealing with an Outbound transaction.(delivery Note)
The Customer addresses also provide the Destination lookup detail in Trekscale

3) Suppliers Module - This forms part of the Company Lookup that users can select from in Trekscale.This is when they will select a Supplier name when they are dealing with an Inbound transaction (Goods Received linked to a PO)
The Suppliers also form the Haulier/Transporter lookup list that users can select from in Trekscale.
Only suppliers whicbfall into the below Supplier Categories get updates to Trekscale and become available for selection by users

To access the Weighbridge module go to Operations > Weighbridge.Set the Date parameter you want to view the data for and click the View button

Customer Delivery Notes (Outbound)

• Bumatech Sales Dept (Alta) will create Delivery Notes from the Sales Orders in the system.

• The Delivery Notes are emailed to the Weighbridge office as a form of  Delivery schedule they should expect to handle for the day.In addition users will get Email Notification of Pending Delivery Notes  which also serves as the delivery Schedule 

• When truck goes onto the weighbridge the second time weighbridge office users will capture the QuickEasy Del Note number into Trekscale .This data updates into QuickEasy Weighbridge module 

• Using the Del Note number QuickEasy will then update the Del Note Item Qty with the Net Mass that Trekscale has weighed .

• Weighbridge office prints out Delivery Note which has the correct weight and gives to the Outgoing truck

Supplier Deliveries (Inbound)

• Truck passes through Weighbridge office and presents delivery documents  eg Weighbridge ticket..(specifying the total weight that was weighed from where they are delivering from)..Delivery Note 

• These documents are sent to the Accounts team (Alta,Jessica) who will then reconcile using the weighbridge report to see process Goods Received from the correct Purchase Order and update the Goods Received Qty to the weight as per weighbridge
