Writer's Challenge: Opinion
Why is your best friend the best best friend? Why are dogs better (or worse) than cats? Who is the best Youtuber, and why are they so great? What's the best video game of all time and why?
Think of something you have strong feelings about, or choose one of the questions above.
Write a paragraph that introduces the topic, states how you feel and gives at least one reason for why you feel the way you do.
Share your writing with a friend, family member or pet.

Watch the video, “Climate change (according to a kid)” Then go outside and look at the weather. Notice:
1) How warm or cool is it?
2) What is in the sky? Are there clouds? If there are, what do they look like?
3) Is it raining?
4) Is it windy?
or - On a warm sunny morning, pour some water on the pavement to make a puddle. Mark the circumference of the puddle with a chalk line. Check on the puddle — once an hour, if you can manage it. Each time you check it, draw a new outline around the puddle. Think about
Where did the water go?
If the weather was cold, do you think the puddle would disappear faster or slower? Why do you think that?
or -Fill two identical clear plastic cups with water. Mark the water level in both glasses. Cover one with a lid (or plastic wrap), then put them both in a warm spot — on a sunny window ledge or near the heater.
What do you think will happen? Check on the glasses every day for the next week.
If you want to explore further, try this follow-up experiment. Start with the same two glasses, but leave both uncovered. Put one cup in a warm spot and the other in a cooler spot. What do you think will happen?

Today's activity is a game of locomotor tic tac toe. It can be played inside or outside. My son and I included a video of us playing. Have fun!
