Carlotta Romano

Carlotta Romano is a New York based Italian Composer and Singer. Carlotta's life journey has led her to spend several years residing in Abu Dhabi and the United Kingdom. Her sound is an emblem of the various cultures, Italian and Middle-Eastern, which surrounded her growing up. Her compositions weave intricate textures and rich melodic lines, creating captivating and pleasant atmospheres. 

Carlotta's voice shines through her music. She stands in representing her creative vision, combining her European heritage with modern production and Middle-Eastern influences. Her distinct sounds characterize the movies she has worked for, and she strives to continue to shine light in the cinematic world. Through her music, she advocates for the voices of others to be heard as well as her own. Her extensive portfolio includes collaborations with a wide array of projects, including Love Bomb Baby, I'm Not Okay, and Mirror Image. 

Coming from a highly refined background in Violin training in Europe, Carlotta holds an Undergraduate Degree in Music Composition and Voice at the University of Bristol. She is currently finishing her Master's in Music Theory and Composition: Screen Scoring at New York University and has been a recipient of the 2023 "Society of Composers and Lyricists" Mentorship Program in New York.
