(Subject to adjustment)
Start by looking at these photos from the day.
Project Purpose:
You are examining leadership and/or perspective. You will be interviewing someone other than a family member about leadership or understanding different perspectives. You might consider looking at how understanding different perspectives interacts with good leadership. You will create a project in which you show the essential elements of leadership and/or understanding perspective.
Step 1: Create Timeline.
Your initial timeline will include the events of the day of 9/11. It should start with what time the hijackers boarded the airplanes. (Due Date: 9/27/19)
Later you will expand this timeline to include the events surrounding your specific research area.
Step 2: Research Plan Graphic Organizer
Fill out the graphic organizer. It was handed out
Step 3: Storyboard/Pitch Sheet
Now that you've decided what it is that you want to dive into you will need to organize what it is that you are trying to do. If you are doing some type of story telling, or "linear" activity then you need a storyboard showing the logical order of events and the main points of what you want people to know. If you are doing a presentation that is before and after, but not really a story you will need to fill out a "pitch sheet" in which you "pitch" the argument to Mrs. Sanford and Mr. Rude.
Step 4: Interview Questions
What are you going to ask your interview subjects? You'll need to have them written down so they can be presented to Mrs. Sanford or Mr. Rude prior to your interview. You need to fill out the PRE-INTERVIEW SHEET
Step 5: First version
Establish the first version of your project. This will be revised and improved after getting feedback from friends, classmates, and potentially teachers.
Step 6: Revisions
Get feedback from classmates, friends, parents, teachers. This should be specific and constructive to help you improve your final preoduct.
Step 7: Final Project
Your final project is somewhat up to you.
-It must include information gained from you interviews.
What/who were the major players in this?
You need to identify who your research centers around. This may be a group of people, or a single person. You will need to identify them either by name or by group.
How was your research area affected by the events of 9/11 and it's aftermath?
What was your research area like prior to 9/11? What was it like after the first tower was hit? How long did it take for your research area to change?
Who are the hijackers?
Why did this happen?
